Creative Food Content Creators You Should Know About

You know how Burna Boy said you go explain taya, no evidence? In this case, evidence dey, because these people are putting in the work and need to be recognized, as their niche is a bit over-crowded.

Often, it takes more than mixing a few ingredients in the kitchen, and turning Garri into pancakes to make a chef, or in this case, a creative food content creator. No offense to the numerous “blender” chefs on socials, but today, we are taking a deeper dive.

In this piece, WTS looks to spotlight five unique underrated food content creators, paving the way for micro food bloggers who aspire to be seen, while fostering a sense of community.

Uzoms Kitchen

Where others strive to fit in, Uzoma stands out. She is an embodiment of creativity and this is evident in her cooking. Uzoma does not just cook meals, she’s innovative and pushes the envelope with her ever-evolving culinary skills.

If you are searching for a place to find the most exciting, yet unconventional recipes, Uzoms Kitchen is the place to be. Although she is not quite popular online, her unique selling point stands her out.

In addition, you would find that Uzoms does not joke with fashion accessories. She puts in the effort, not just in her cooking, but in her overall appearance. Talk about a plus-size baddie that’s in her bag.

Brian spoons and spices

Brian food

In a world where people will either choose to be restaurant critics or chefs, Brian has chosen to do both. Brian does not only introduce people to the most affordable yet tasteful restaurants in Abuja, but he also cooks great meals.

He took his upskilling a step further when he enrolled in Hilda Baci’s cooking class. In turn, he teaches his followers how to prepare the variety of meals he learned during the classes. Gatekeeping does not work here.

Brian is also looking to Break the Guinness World Record by visiting 120 restaurants in 24 hours. Now if that’s not daring, I don’t know what is.

Ama

AMa food

Ama, known as the_amazingama on social media, is a TikTok and Instagram food creator, as well as a Fintech Bro. His unique selling point is storytelling while infusing some elements of his indigenous language Annang,  Akwa Ibom, which is one of the reasons many of his followers love him. They also love him because he shows people how to add wine to food, but I won’t say too much about that *wink wink*. What’s more, Ama gives off a cheerful vibe in his videos, that makes you endlessly scroll on his page.

Ama’s content is also very relatable and easy to follow, as he never over-complicates things like our famous “blender” chefs. Again, no offense intended.

Fareedah (food)

Fareedah food

Whoever said people eat with their eyes first or whatever was said was speaking of Fareedah. Because what???. My first visit to her page had me picking my jaw from the floor. Two words describe her, aesthetically pleasing and organized.

Fareedah is a digital lifestyle creator, who infuses food, fashion, makeup, skincare, and a sprinkle of personal content. All these combined make her page a one-stop for lifestyle content.

Her food recipes range from Nigerian to Italian, Mexican, American, and whatnot. If you are looking to elevate your cooking skills, you should probably give her page a visit.

Knowing the importance of community, Fareedah takes extra time to respond to comments and questions from her followers, which is another reason to love her page.

 Chef Maah (food)

Chef Maah is a northern Nigerian food content creator. Or in her own words, an ‘Arewa Foodie’ who not only focuses on food content creation but draws awareness to brands that are doing remarkably well in the markets.

Gatekeeping does not exist in Chef Maah’s dictionary as she not only shares food content but also shares hacks that can make your cooking life easier. If you have a sweet tooth, you are sure to find several recipes that suit your appetite on her page.

Chef Maah also puts her followers on cooking utensils that just take the stress off of them. I mean, life does not have to be so hard, does it?
