Yimeeka, unleashes a mesmerizing 2-song pack to her fans who have been waiting eagerly since the release of her debut EP last year. The pack, which includes singles – ‘Tsunami’ and ‘Issues,’ features the talented Semzi, Manana and R&B sensation YKB, respectively.
Yimeeka, a prodigious talent in her own right, began her musical journey at the tender age of 12 while still in high school. Since then, she has developed a reputation for her incredible skills as a producer, songwriter, sound designer, and creative director. Her professional career officially took off in 2020, and she has since collaborated with numerous industry heavyweights, including the Afrobeats giant Davido.
Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of artists and producers such as Pheelz, Jon Bellion, Ed Sheeran, Benny Blanco, and Ryan Tedder, Yimeeka’s music transcends genres, combining elements of Alternative, R&B, and Afrofusion. In 2022, she released her highly anticipated debut project, an EP titled “Alter Ego.” The EP consists of seven (7) multi-genre tracks that showcase her exceptional artistry. Collaborating with renowned Nigerian producer Pheelz and other notable talents, Yimeeka delivered an unforgettable musical experience. The EP, which was released on May 13, 2022, captivated listeners with its captivating blend of Afrofusion and R&B sounds.
