Surulere-born artist Lop3z is making a bold and stylish return to music with her high-energy party anthem “MATA,” dropping June 20, 2025. After a powerful reintroduction earlier this year with her single “Pay Me”, the rapper-singer-DJ is back again—this time with a fierce statement track that celebrates confidence, resilience, and pure party vibes.
Born and raised in Lagos with roots in Delta State, Lop3z started her music journey in secondary school before evolving into a professional artist in 2012. Influenced by hip-hop heavyweights like Eminem and Dr. Dre, she brings a distinctive Nigerian twist to her sound. Over the years, she’s worked under the names Efa Lopez and E. Lopez, and even explored DJing as DJ Lopez. Now fully rebranded as Lop3z, she’s claiming her space as an independent artist with a message and a vibe.
