DRUMROLLS EP is the start of a music career; an opening to an artistic life of sonic highs. FRDND’S offering in his debut project comes six months after his debut single Orente which was released on all DSPs in October 2023. DRUMROLLS EP is a step to further what has been criticized positively to be a well done song. The project which drops on the 1st of March 2024 packs a punch of excitement like the first paragraph to a riveting musical story of love, family, friendship, a good time, good vibrations and positivity.
FRDND, the 19 year old, 200 level University student and Port Harcourt native aims to bring a new perspective to the Afrobeats tale with an immersive use of musicality, artistic performance, melodies, bounce and lyricism unlike anything in current offering. His style of music is influenced by progenitors like Tyler the Creator, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Asake, Buju, Post Malone and the same reflects in his choice of music that inspires what he creates.
DRUMROLLS dropping on the 1st of March is test of FRDND’s first impression in the Afrobeats market and he comes with an impressive community of producers who worked on the project like Ramoon, Lexus Beats and EJ FYA. His collaborators on the project include JayDahKidd and Emirex who are also industry friends of his.
