According to D-Truce, “I realised that we all deserve some time off, because it’s been a lot. At the point I had finished recording the album, it made sense. It made sense because I feel like everyone needs this album. And the emotions and sounds in the music are literally where I was mentally at different points during the lockdown and the rest of the year, so I made it to connect with people like me.”
