3rty is back with a new, magical 4-track offering produced by Jay Blakez.
One thing we’ve always found super-interesting about 3rty is what he calls the kind of music he makes – Herbal Music. Frankly, that’s exactly how the music feels to us – organic, soothing – like a panacea to pain you didn’t know you were feeling deep inside.
Blue Crystal comes across as a fix – albeit a safe and healthy one. Playing for just 11 minutes, it’s a short, steady stream of emotions that you will want to experience on repeat.
Our pick off the EP is ‘Beautiful Beautiful’, where he muses about our rich history and how we let colonialism wash parts of our culture and tradition away.
