Lagos, Nigeria — July 31, 2026 — Nigerian DJ and producer Jamie Black has released OGBA: Remix Pack, an eight-track remix project, licensed and distributed by WeTalkSound, that brings together seven of Nigeria’s leading electronic music producers to reimagine OGBA, widely regarded as the country’s biggest original Afro House anthem.
Since its release in November 2025, OGBA has grown from an underground record into a defining soundtrack for Nigeria’s rave culture. Named after the Nigerian street slang for someone exceptionally skilled at what they do, the song has become a mindset anthem of confidence, excellence and presence, dominating dancefloors across Lagos and beyond.
The record has earned support from some of Africa’s most influential tastemakers, including DJ Spinall, Heavy K, DJ Consequence, Aniko, and South African artist Ciza, helping introduce the record to audiences far beyond Nigeria’s electronic music community.
Building on that momentum, OGBA: Remix Pack features fresh interpretations from Tobi Peter, DJ Khalipha, Smeez & D3an, Proton, King Nonso Duke, Spenser M, and Demi Andre—some of the leading names shaping Nigeria’s rapidly growing electronic music scene. Several of the remixes have already been teased at major electronic music events, including House of Assembly and Monochroma, where they’ve received enthusiastic reactions from rave audiences.
The project’s official artwork also invites fans deeper into the OGBA universe, with hidden Easter eggs inspired by Nigeria’s contemporary rave scene. Ogbaholics are being challenged to piece together every reference, turning the release into an interactive celebration of the culture that helped make OGBA a movement.
“OGBA became so much bigger than me because of everyone who believed in it,” says Jamie Black. “This remix pack is a celebration of the producers, DJs and Ogbaholics who helped turn it into a movement. It’s another step towards taking Nigerian house music to the world.”
