20-year-old singer-songwriter Okereke Blessed Jordan also known by the stage name “Yarden.” was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. Yarden’s career began in 2019 after he was recognized during a yearly festival in Lagos. Taking advantage of the attention, Yarden made the decision to try his hand at songwriting. He posted covers of popular songs on Audiomack, which increased his popularity on Facebook and Instagram.
Yarden’s music was further popularized in 2019 with the release of his debut single, “She Don’t Love Me,” via all streaming services. After releasing his debut single, Yarden went on to release his second single, “Heartbreak,” an emo-trap song that marked the start of Yarden’s development
