Headies Awards Winners List: 2006 – Present

The Headies is undoubtedly the Nigerian Grammy – the most prestigious and widely accepted award show recognizing outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry. Formerly called the ‘HipHop World Awards’, it was established in 2006 by Ayo Animashaun’s HipHop World Magazine. Since its inception, it has had a fair share of controversies and drama, however with 14 editions in 16 years, it remains Nigeria’s foremost music award show.

The 15th edition of the Headies will be held at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, United States on 4 September 2022. This will be the first edition hosted outside Nigeria.
