Since Sikiboi debuted in 2017, he has been an emblem of versatility and range on different sounds from Afropop, Afro-EDM to Afrohouse – that’s how talented and gifted he is. His origin and deep roots in Port Harcourt hasn’t been a barrier to landing features with some of the biggest names in Nigerian music including Wizkid’s official disc jockey, DJ Tunez. In the
past, Sikiboi also collaborated with fellow Port Harcourt export, Omah Lay.
Sikiboi’s ability to hit the right notes and keys encapsulated by rich falsettos makes him a sought-after and promising singer, vocalist, and songwriter and that’s what his debut EP is all about. “Something beautiful EP” shows Sikiboi displaying a mixture of vocalizing, breaking, and reminiscing on heartfelt and nostalgic melodies. From the introductory track “1980s” which features the superb and ear-wormy strings of guitarist Abel Lead Us to “Billing”, “Don’t go”, “Roses” to the last track “Whine”, Sikiboi’s unique vocals, artistry, and melodies stood out on production masterminds by Mercy Chinwo’s longtime producer Dr. Roy, Jimohsoundz, Eddiey, Mazi spice and Don Kayyz.
