Born and bred in Lagos, Nigeria, Adedolapo Abimbolu whose stage moniker is Spesh OG is ready to drop his debut EP – ENERGY. Growing up, Spesh loved and listened to music from the traditional juju and Fuji sounds of King Sunny Ade and Ayinde Wasiu to the RnB classics of the legendary Style plus. He also draws inspiration from the epic run of albums from 9ice, trap stories of Tory Lanez, and sonorous medleys of Fatai Rolling Dollar.
His debut EP houses six tracks ‘Energy’, ‘One Billi’, ‘Drip’, ‘My ends’, ‘Rose’, and ‘Ko le tan’. With his songwriting abilities and commanding baritone vocals, he weaves topics like positive energy, financial literacy, women, sex, and love into this finely tailored project with Skinnie Twid and Feelinz the only artists featured on the EP.
